The new version of Datenpool marks another milestone in online document processing. With the new function, PDF documents and plans can now also be edited online and provided with approval stamps.
CHANGES/ ENHANCEMENTS
- online editing of PDF documents
As a logical extension to the editing of office documents, the Datenpool now also offers the possibility of online editing of PDF documents. In addition to redlining, editing text and inserting graphics and attachments, it is now possible to print personalised approval stamps that can be dated and signed.
- link an existing Post-it to a new version
Personalised post-its associated with a container are now automatically transferred to the new version when the document is versioned. This means that labelled containers remain accessible even if the version changes.
- info mail to workflow creator
Previously, workflow functions had to be assigned to defined persons or groups. With the new function, the creator can now also be stored as a variable. When a new workflow is created, the author can now be entered automatically by the system.
- automatic reminder when changing test phases
A special view in the datenpool can be used to check whether the current test workflows have been completed within the specified time. A traffic light system informs the user of the status of individual test workflows. With the new function, the inspector now also automatically receives an info mail when the inspection phase changes.
- Edit storage folders for released containers
Previously, when a container was released, it was not possible to change the storage folders. With the revised function, the storage and labelling of a container can now be changed even after the inspection workflow has been completed.
- draft version view
The new function automatically informs you when you start the datenpool if the processing of new versions has not yet been completed. All open documents and plans are displayed in a separate area and can be edited directly by clicking on a document or plan.
