In the course of a public tender by KABEG and the state of Carinthia, Datenpool has been awarded the contract to provide up to 200 Datenpools for projects ranging from 250,000 euros to over 100 million euros over the next five years.
The basis for the tender was a framework agreement for the provision of a project platform for the State Hospital Operating Company (KABEG), the Carinthian State Government’s Department 9 (Roads and Bridges) and Department 2 (State Real Estate Management), through which all the necessary Datenpools can be accessed in the coming years.
During the tendering process, particular attention was paid to the functional scope of the Common Data Environments (CDE). Based on extensive catalogues of requirements and a presentation to the commission, the functions were evaluated by the clients in a multi-stage process and thus served as the basis for selecting the CDE platform.
In the long history of Datenpool, this is the largest order to date for the provision of a Common Data Environment, which also includes the management of BIM models and extensive workflows for the review and approval of documents and plans.
